An experience in living differently.

The Rose-

Colored Life

Open your eyes to the in the messy middle of your life.

November 4 – December 2

Most of life is lived in

the middle.

Not at the beginning, when everything feels fresh and full of possibility.

Nor at the finish line, when we finally get the thing we’ve been working toward.

In the middle.

In the middle of

the week.

traffic.

dealing with a sick kid and still having to go to work.

your dream vacation when you suddenly get a toothache.

a conversation you weren’t expecting to have.

a season you thought would look completely different.

The middle is messy. The middle is often mundane. The middle doesn’t always go according to plan.

And the middle is also where the magic happens.

Because the middle isn’t the part we have to get through before we get back to our lives.

The middle is

life.

And yet, so many of us

are waiting for when:

So then:

Then I’ll get back to myself.

Then I’ll start.

Then I’ll enjoy it.

Then I’ll live the way I really want to live.

So we plan. We analyze. We wait for clarity.

We find:

• a new journal

• a new system

• a new routine

Because we love the feeling of

a fresh start.

A fresh start feels like this time it’ll be different.

Like this is the answer.

And it might be, for a little while.

Until you find yourself

in the middle again.

The excitement wears off.

You miss a few days.

Life happens, as it does.

And even if you have progress, you don’t want to count it

because you’ve gotten this far before, and then you’ve stopped.

So you don’t wanna get your hopes up this time.

The little moments don’t seem to matter because you’re waiting for the big moment.

The breakthrough.

The answer.

The thing that finally changes everything.

But what if the problem isn’t that you keep finding yourself in the middle?

What if nobody ever taught

you how to live there?

Welcome to the

Rose-Colored Life.

No, I’m not asking you to pretend everything’s wonderful.

No, I don’t want you to ignore what’s hard.

I’m not trying to bypass grief, disappointment, anger, fear or the things in your life that genuinely need your attention.

Rose-colored living isn’t pretending the mess isn’t there.

It’s refusing to let the mess be the only thing you can see.

Because there is rarely one truth available to you.

You can be disappointed and proud.

You can be grieving and experience joy.

You can want more and deeply appreciate what you have.

Life can be messy and magical.

This November, I’m inviting you to put on the rose-colored glasses with me.

For four weeks, I’m opening The Well and inviting you into a different way of living.

We’ll connect

We’ll reflect.

We’ll practice.

And then you’ll go and live it.

I want you to participate in your life, not perform it.

Here’s what we’ll practice together:

— Week one

Notice the “when” life

Notice where you’re waiting for something to change before you let yourself fully live the life that’s already happening.

— Week two

Make it micro

Get out of the big, vague thinking that keeps you stuck and come back to the small actions and micro moments where your life actually happens.

— Week three

Romanticize your life

Live with big eyes. Notice the sparks of bliss, beauty, synchronicities and ordinary magic you might otherwise walk right past.

— Week four

Align

Reflect on the whole picture: notice what worked, what changed, where you stayed steady, where you drifted and what you want next. Tweak and adjust to intentionally choose the direction you want to nurture from here.

Notice.→Name.→Nurture.
→Live.→Notice again.

And there’s something special about doing this in November.

Because November is in the middle of the holidays.

Prepping for parties.

Shopping for gifts.

Planning the food.

Juggling the kids.

Keeping the commitments.

Tying up year-end loose ends.

The pressure starts building.

And somewhere inside the middle…
you can disappear.

I don’t want you to be more productive or do the holidays better.

I want to help you get off autopilot.

🌸To experience a dinner instead of just hosting it.

🌸To enjoy something before it’s perfect.

🌸To take care of yourself without requiring an elaborate plan.

🌸To take care of yourself without requiring an elaborate plan.

🌸To see what you’ve done this year instead of only what you didn’t get to.

🌸To keep your eyes open for the magic.

That’s the invitation.

To become someone who knows how to live in the middle.

With open eyes.

With intention.

With curiosity.

With perspective.

With the willingness to notice the magic even when it’s messy.
